Brantley Telephone Company is proud to offer the highest Internet speeds available in our coverage area. Our DSL (digital subscriber line) network provides the fastest connections possible – using your existing telephone line.

DSL is only available to Brantley Telephone Company customers and available based on the distance of your location from our central offices. Residential DSL Plans:
Basic (up to 256 kbps downstream) — $24.95 New!
The ideal way to move up from dial-up! For only $5.00 more than simple dial-up service, you can enjoy the convenience and faster speeds of DSL! This plan is perfect for the occasional web-surfer that uses email, instant messaging, and other simple online tasks. The Basic Plan includes seven e-mail addresses; additional e-mail addresses are $3 each.
Silver (up to 768 kbps downstream) — $34.95
Do you enjoy watching the streaming videos at BTConline.net or other online video sites? Most streaming video sites are optimized for web viewers with faster connection speeds. BTC’s Silver Plan gives you up to three times more speed than the Basic plan for just $10 more per month and it includes all of the same features!
Gold (up to 1.5 Mbps downstream) - $44.95 (was $49.95)
If you’re serious about web surfing, you want serious speed and now it’s even more affordable thanks to advances in technology! The Gold Plan has been designed for the customer who regularly downloads multimedia video and music files, as well as the casual surfer who just wants faster page downloads. In addition, if you have a home network or plan to install one, this is the minimum level of service to consider. Includes all features of Basic & Silver plans.
PLATINUM (up to 3 Mbps downstream) - $54.95 (was $59.95)
This is as fast as it gets! BTC’s PLATINUM Plan is only available in limited areas surrounding Waynesville, Nahunta, and Hoboken. Customers demanding the fastest possible Internet speeds available should call our business office at (912) 462-5111 to see if they are within range to receive this premium plan. This is the optimum level of service for your home network, if you’re considering one. Includes all features of Basic, Silver & Gold Plans.
Business plans:

This is for the business network that needs the fastest possible connection available. BTC’s PLATINUM Business Plan is only available in limited areas surrounding Waynesville, Nahunta, and Hoboken. DSL Modems
To get DSL by BTC, you need a DSL modem purchased through BTC at a cost of $100.00. As a special incentive, BTC is offering a free modem to customers who sign a 12-month service agreement for any DSL plan.
BTC’s DSL modem connects to computers running Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, or Windows 98 operating systems. Versions prior to Windows 2000 may require additional WinPoet software.
Our modems are also Mac-compatible, using Mac X or above.
DSL Installation/Activation

Professional Installation by BTC -
$99.95 plus free activation with a 12-month contract
BTC installs to the demarcation point at your location. All DSL accounts include termination to ONE computer only; up to five filters, as applicable; and an Ethernet cable. Installation DOES NOT INCLUDE inside wiring. Any wiring or other work needed will be charged at the standard rate.
An Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) is required for DSL service. Customers are responsible for installing and configuring the NIC. BTC cannot install the NIC in the customer’s computer. Networking of more than one computer will also be the responsibility of the customer.
NOTE: BTC is not responsible for service issues related to a customer’s computer, network, or software.
*If your DSL service is disconnected for non-payment, there will be a $50 reconnection fee to re-establish service.
**If you receive more than one copyright infringement letter, charges will apply to re-establish your service.
Moving your DSL service to another location is considered a new installation. Charges may apply.
Permission must be obtained from BTC prior to any type of server being placed online. The decision of all servers to be placed online is totally at the discretion of BTC. Servers will not be allowed on residential service. Multiple sessions are not allowed. Customers wishing to connect a network to their DSL connection must do so using a DSL router. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide and configure their DSL router. There is no limitation on the number of computers a customer can connect to their DSL line. Violation of this policy could result in termination of service.
