Tournament Winners (L to R): Frank Dasher III, Tristan Bridges, Kent Garard, Antwon Nixon & Brandon Harris NAHUNTA, GA - BTC thanks the community for contributing over $1,200 and congratulates the team of Frank Dasher III, Tristan Bridges, Kent Garard, Antwon Nixon & Brandon Harris for winning the first BTC 3-ON-3 Basketball Tournament held Saturday, March 27th at Brantley County High School. The Folkston-based team breezed through the tournament field of ten teams undefeated to win the event, which represented BTC's third fundraiser in the month of March. Proceeds benefit the upcoming American Cancer Society's Relay For Life on April 16th and combined with the totals from BTC's fishing & golf tournaments, fundraising has surpassed $5,300 for the month. BTC appreciates the support of Satilla Grocery, Bennett's Hometown Pharmacy and Indian Creek General Contracting for generously contributing to the sponsorship of the event, as well as Brantley County High School & Superintendent Dr. Drew Sauls who graciously provided use of the gymnasium & basketball equipment. BTC employee and the tournament's coordinator, Justin Bowers, also thanks the following individuals for volunteering their time & service: Daniel Velie, Tripp Herrin, Trampus Edgy, Pamela Herrin, Crystal O'Neal, Teri Dowling, Scooter Morgan & Brandi Dixon.
