Brantley Telephone Company offers a variety of features to enhance your voice service.

 Voicemail 

Never miss a call - even if the power goes out.  No tapes.  No extra equipment.

  $3.00  $3.00 Using a four-digit PIN, callers may access voicemail messages from anywhere.

 Enhanced Voicemail

Get email notification when someone leaves you a message at home.  Great for time-sensitive calls!		  $5.00  $5.00 Using custom settings, set up voicemail notifications that find you and let you know that someone has left you a message as soon as it happens.

 Voicemail - Greeting Only

Lets callers know you are not available with a custom message, but no mailbox for messages.

  $3.00  $3.00 This voicemail service works well for businesses that do not offer after-hours support.  Callers hear your custom message and are assured they have called the right number, but must call back later to reach you.

Beyond voicemail options, BTC offers 35 additional calling features.  The following discounts apply to all of the additional features:

Twenty features are available for inclusion in BTC bundles.  Features marked with an asterisk (*) are NOT available within a bundle.  Free features must be requested before activated.

 Anonymous Call Rejection

Refuse calls from callers who block their numbers.

 $3.50  $4.00 Press *77 to reject callers who do not allow their name and number to be displayed on your Caller ID unit, or who have a non-published number. Press *87 to deactivate.

 Call Waiting

When you are on the phone, a special tone will notify you of another incoming call.

  $2.40 $3.25 When the tone notifies you of another incoming call, press the hook switch or flash key to answer the call. Press it again to return to your original call.

 Block Call Waiting (*70)

When you don't want to be interrupted allows you to block call waiting; then reactivate it after your call.

 $1.00 $2.00 Press *70 to block the call waiting feature.  Callers will get a busy signal.  Hang up to deactivate.

 Call Forwarding (72#)

Forward your calls to another number.

 $2.00  $3.00 Press 72#, wait for three beeps and a dialtone. Enter the number to which you want your calls forwarded. Press # sign, wait for ringing and answer. If busy or no answer, hang up and repeat first three steps. To deactivate, press 73#, listen for three beeps and hang up.

 Preferred Call Forwarding (*63)

Forward up to six number to another phone.

  $3.50  $4.00 Press *63 and follow the voice instructions. You may select as many as six numbers to forward to another phone number. To deactivate, press *83.
 Call Forwarding - Busy  $1.50  $2.50 Direct callers to another number only if your line is busy when they call.

 Call Forwarding - No Answer

 $1.50  $2.50 Direct callers to another number only if they do not get an answer when calling your line.

 Remote Activation of Call Forwarding *

Activate your call forwarding from any location.

  $4.50  $6.50 Dial 462-3333 and enter your home phone number and four-digit PIN. Listen for two beeps and follow call forwarding instructions.  This feature is not available in a bundle.
 Call Forwarding - Fixed *  $2.00  $3.00 Automatically forward all calls from your number to another number of your choice.  This feature is not available in a bundle.
 Caller ID Name & Number  $5.50  $6.50 After the second ring, the number calling will display on your Caller ID unit. If the caller is from an area not served by this feature, the number will not display.
 Caller ID Deluxe  $8.00  $9.00 Enjoy Caller ID Name & Number even when you're already on the phone - includes Call Waiting.  When you are on the phone, you will hear the Call Waiting tone, and the number calling will display on your Caller ID unit.

 Caller ID Blocking (*67)

Prevents your name and number from being displayed when you make a call.

 FREE  FREE Press *67 before making your call to prevent your name and number from being displayed on a Caller ID unit. Press *82 if you want your non-published number to display. Both features work on a per-call basis, but you must call the BTC office to have them activated.

 Call Return (*69)

Redial your last caller, even if you didn't answer.

 $3.50  $4.50 Press *69 and listen for the announcement of the last caller. If you wish to return the call, press 1 and wait. If the number is busy, wait for the announcement, then hang up. You will hear a short-short-long ring when the line is free. The number will be dialed once you lift the handset. To cancel, press *89. If the number is not in an area served by *69, you will get a recording saying the call cannot be made.

 Call Return (*69) Per Call *

  $0.95  $0.95 If you do not subscribe to the monthly Call Return (*69) feature, you may use it on a per call basis at this rate.  This feature is not available in a bundle.
 Call Return Block  FREE  FREE Prevents call return (*69) from being used from (and charged to) your number.

 Call Repeat (*66)

Get through to busy numbers as soon as they’re free.

  $3.50  $4.00 When you get a busy signal, hang up. Then lift the receiver, listen for a dialtone and press *66. If the line is busy, listen for the announcement and hang up. You will hear a short-short-long ring when the line is free. The number will be dialed once you lift the handset. To cancel, press *86.
 Call Repeat Block FREE FREE Prevents Call Repeat (*66) from being used from your number.
 Call Hold *  $2.00  $3.00 Press and release hook switch to talk privately to another party.  This feature is not available in a bundle.

 Call Trace (*57) *

Trace annoying or harassing callers.

 $3.00  $3.00 Hang up after receiving the call. Lift the receiver, listen for a dialtone, and press *57. Listen for the announcement and hang up. If a call waiting tone is received, the call will be traced.  This feature is not available in a bundle.
 Call Trace Block FREE FREE Prevents Call Trace (*57) from being used from your number.

 Priority Ringing (*61)

Identifies up to six different numbers with a distinctive ring.

 $3.50  $4.00 Allows you to program up to six numbers for a distinctive short-long-short ring so you’ll know who’s calling. To activate, press *61 and listen for voice instructions on how to turn the feature on or off, or make changes.

 Call Transfer *

Transfers calls to another number.

 $2.00  $3.00 This is used with Three-Way Calling. While you’re on the call, press the hook switch and dial the number to be transferred to, and then press the hook switch again.  This feature is not available in a bundle.

 Special Call Acceptance (*61)

Gives you control over the calls you wish to take.

  $3.50  $4.00 Lets you program up to six numbers from which you want to accept calls; all other callers will be blocked. To activate, press *61 and follow the voice instructions.

 Special Call Rejection (*60)

Gives you control over the calls you do not wish to take.

  $3.50  $4.00 Lets you program up to six numbers that you wish to block; those callers are alerted that you are not accepting calls at that time. Other numbers will ring through as normal. To activate, press *60 and follow the voice instructions on how to turn Special Call Rejection on or off, or make changes.

 Do Not Disturb (*78)

Lets you block all calls you do not wish to take for a given period of time.

 $3.50  $4.00 Only callers with your personal four-digit PIN number can reach you; all other calls are blocked. To activate, press *78; to deactivate, press *79. To change your PIN number, press *80.
 Speed Calling (Up to 8 numbers) (74#)  $2.50  $3.00 Store up to 8 numbers in memory. To set up, listen for dialtone and press 74#. For eight numbers, dial 2 through 9 and enter each desired number. For 30 numbers, dial 2 through 31 and enter each desired number. Press the # button after each number entered and listen for the confirmation tone.  This feature is not available in a bundle.
 Speed Calling (Up to 30 numbers) (74#) *  $3.50  $4.00 Store up to 30 numbers in memory.  See instructions above.  This feature is not available in a bundle.

 Three-Way Calling

Add a third person to your conversation.

  $2.75  $3.50 To add a third person to your call, put your original party on hold by depressing the hook switch. Listen for three beeps and a dialtone. Dial the number of the person you want to add to the call. When the third person is connected, depress the hook switch again and to put the original party on the call.
 Three-Way Calling Per Call *  $0.95  $0.95 If you do not subscribe to the monthly Three-Way Calling feature, you may use it on a per call basis at this rate.  This feature is not available in a bundle.
 Three-Way Call Block  FREE  FREE Prevents three-way calls from being placed from (or charged to) your number.

 Warm Line / Hot Line *

Valuable features that allow you to check on a parent’s or other family member’s well-being.

 $2.50  $3.50 Warm Line automatically dials a pre-designated number 30 seconds after the handset is lifted; Hot Line dials a pre-selected number immediately after the handset is lifted.  This feature is not available in a bundle.

 Personal Ringing *

  $4.00  N/A Lets you get up to three numbers assigned to your home telephone line, each with unique ringing patterns so you know who the call is for.  This feature is not available in a bundle.

 Toll Control w/ PIN(*52)

Requires long distance calls to be placed using an assigned four-digit personal identification number.

  $3.00  $4.00
Press *52 and wait for the dialtone. Enter the PIN and listen for two beeps. Then dial the number you wish to call.

 Toll Denial

  $2.00  $2.00 Prevents any direct-dialed long distance calls from being placed from your number.

 900 Block

  FREE  FREE Prevents calls from being placed from your number to 1-900 numbers.

 Collect / Third Number Block

  FREE  FREE Prevents collect calls and/or calls from another location from being charged to your number.

 Telemarketer Screening

Eliminate unsolicited calls from telemarketers.

  $3.50*  $3.50* When someone calls your home for the first time, they will be notified that you do not accept calls from telemarketers and asked to enter their number in a database that recognizes calls you want to receive and those you do not.
